Even as Florida’s hot sun beats down on us there are still beautiful flowers surrounding us. Eighteen year Wedgefield residents Lisa Piecora and Cindy Corrado have created a Shangri-la for all their pets and extracurricular activities.
If you have ever driven around Wedgefield and seen the baseball diamond in the Estates you will immediately recognize this months choice.
No doubt their favorite flower is the bougainvillea in colors of deep burgundy or medium orange, which drape large containers making care easier. Small flowering trees and shrubs, desert roses, small crepe myrtles, roses, white hydrangeas, Ital
ian Cypress and Holly are some of the many plants to be enjoyed. You will also see camellias and a powder puff tree.
Creative birdhouses are scattered around the landscape attracting beautiful bluebirds and mockingbirds.
