Scott Randolph was elected Orange County Tax Collector in November 2012 and reelected in 2016. Prior to becoming the Orange County Tax Collector, Mr. Randolph represented Orange County residents in the Florida Legislature where he served as a senior member on the Finance and Tax Committee. As an attorney, Mr. Randolph brings extensive experience in state and local tax policy to the Orange County Tax Collector’s office. In the five years that Mr. Randolph has served as Tax Collector, he’s implemented new technologies to improve customer service, streamlined the Office’s budget, returned millions of dollars back to taxpayers and fought to protect small businesses, churches and non-profits from unfair tax penalties. Mr. Randolph’s top priority is to serve Orange County taxpayers and customers. He continues to focus on providing faster, more efficient customer service by embracing new technology to improve customer interactions with our offices — and it’s working. The Florida Department of Revenue ranks the Orange County Tax Collector’s Office as the third most efficient tax collector office in Florida. Mr. Randolph lives in Downtown Orlando with his wife Susannah and their young daughter Hillary.
