The Garden Club Members Met Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 11 am.

One new Wedgefield resident, Renee Matthews and a newly retired resident, Cheryl Samarjia attended for the first time. Our president, Rosemary Curtis began the meeting for asking everyone to share their Halloween experiences last evening. We also discussed past field trips we enjoyed and would like to return such as IFAS Extension, Leu Garden, and Farmer’s Market in Rockledge. Topic suggestions were: palm trees, grasses, succulents, eatable landscape, Florida flowers, and citrus.

Rosemary also suggested several field trips for anyone interested to attend next month such as Stetson Mansion, Boc Towers, and Disney behind the scenes. She will have more information on these trips in the near future.

A raffle was held for various beautiful fall plants at the end of the meeting.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!

The Garden Club members will have their annual Christmas Party next month and will resume meetings at the Wedgefield Clubhouse on January 2, 2019.
