The Movie Lunch Bunch of Wedgefield celebrated the movies of 2017 with an Academy Award Watching Party on March 4.
The best movie of the year was “The Shape of Water” and the winner with the best prediction score was Sylvia Cox. She gets to take home the traveling “Oscar” trophy until next year.
In addition to seeing the award movies, participants have seen some new movies as well: Red Sparrow, Black Panther, Wrinkle in Time, Death Wish, Thoroughbreds, Simon, and Coco.
We’ve gone to several restaurants for lunch including East Side Bistro in Avalon Park (for Rosemary Curtis’ birthday), Chilis, Goodfellows (for Norma Hallberg’s Birthday) and Longhorns (for Sylvia Cox’ birthday).
