Check Orange County Public Transportation to see if your child is eligible to be a bus rider: https://www.ocps.net/pages/findabus.aspx
This may help ease traffic and frustration with long wait times for drop off and pick up.

DO NOT BLOCK THE SIDEWALKS! Tickets are being issued by Code Enforcement & Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Please slow down & pay attention to all the kids that will be walking & riding their bikes to school. If you are in a hurry to get to work please leave 5 minutes earlier. Our neighborhood children are too important to put in harm’s way. Also, DO NOT park your cars across the sidewalk. We don’t want the kids to have to go around your car, boat, etc. & in to the street to get past your house. If you are blocking the sidewalk both code enforcement & the sheriff’s department will be called to enforce the law. The safety of our children is of the utmost importance.
This program is a component of the ADDitions program. School volunteers work at the schools of their choice and participate in activities that match their interests, such as assisting teachers in the classroom, designing bulletin boards, working with students, serving as computer tutors, working with art classes, or helping out in the office or media center.
