Q. I am not a member of the HOA, do I still need to abide by the codes and covenants?
A.  YES

Q. When are your meetings?
A.
Second Wednesday of the month at the Wedgefield Golf and County Club. Board meets at 6:30 PM, Member meeting at 7:30 PM

Q. Who/what is the Ranger Drainage District?
A. The Ranger Drainage District is a water control district created by the courts and governed by chapter 298 Florida Statutes

Q. Is RDD affiliated with the HOA?
A.  No

Q. What do my WHOA dues go for?

Community events such as the Children's Fall Festival, Easter Egg Hunt, Community cleanup day's Homeowner appreciation dinners, Meeting Facility cost, Insurance, Newsletter and postage, Meeting door prizes, donations to area charity's. Median and front entrance beatification overages not funded by Median Fund donations.

Q. How can I join?
A. Email us and we will mail you an application. Dues are fifty dollars a year.

Q. How do I volunteer?
A. Come to our monthly meetings and sign up for a committee.

Q. How do I become involved in the community? Wedgefield Homeowner's Association?
A. Please contact any of the Board members listed in the newsletter, and any one of them will be glad to discuss opportunities with you.

Q. What do I do if I have lost a pet or have found a neighbor's pet?

Q. How do I reserve a spot for the annual garage sale?
A. Please contact Tom Minter at 407-970-7038 between the hours of 9-5

Q. How do I reserve a spot for the annual golf tournament?
A. Additional details will be coming out about the tournament during the summer 

Q. I would like to build a home on a vacant lot, put a shed on my property, add an addition, install a pool, or put up a fence? What is the process to do that?
A. Please contact Mike Scallan at 407-568-3351, and leave your contact information, along with a short description of the planned work, and he will contact you, also consult the Codes and Covenants linked on this site.  You, or your licensed contractor, will need to complete an Architectural Review Checklist, and submit a plot survey, along with a copy of the various plans needed to complete the work.  Those plans are the same as those required by Orange County for its permitting process, and the Checklist will be providied by Mr. Scallan.  The fee schedule is $250 for a new home, $100 for a new addition, or pool, and $50 for a fence or small shed. If the planned work does not fit neatly into the three categories, Mr. Scallan can tell you which of the three fees is applicable.
