Our Guest Speaker was Mimi Reggentin, Program Manager for the Elder Ambassador Program. She shared many resources on helping our seniors and residents over age 55. To find out about the many resources that she spoke of visit: ocfl.net/seniors.
We also heard from Gail Wilds with Firewise who discussed online resources about dry weather conditions and the current Keetch-Byram Drought Index (KBDI). Gail will write an article for the July Newsletter to go into more detail about fire safety.
The WHOA meetings are going to be changed to Tuesdays starting on June 13th at 7pm due to a conflict with Trivia Night at the Clubhouse. Make sure to update your calendar.
