April Water Update:

Our monthly water meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16th at 6:30pm at the Wedgefield Clubhouse. Please encourage your neighbors to attend especially if they haven’t signed the water from yet. Orange County Utilities (OCU) is waiting to see our community’s interest level before moving forward. If you’ve lived in Wedgefield for 20+ years you would know that this water issue has been taken up several times. This is the first time we have OCU at the table discussing this. They’ve used our current water rates and usage to estimate what they would charge us TODAY if they took over the plant. Honestly, I personally believe that if we are not successful this time around then Orange County will ever entertain this action again. Failure is not an option here.
