We will continue to use the Gifted Cluster model in gr. 1-5. Embracing diversity and increasing student achievement is one of the core philosophies that our school embraces. In striving to meet the needs of our students we will serve the gifted students through a gifted cluster model. This means all students at a grade level are scheduled into classrooms in a way that balances ability and achievement levels throughout the grade level. In this structure, students are purposefully placed into classrooms with the gifted students placed into one or two classrooms depending upon class size and teacher certification. The philosophy behind this is to embed the gifted practices to dig deeper and provide opportunities for demonstrate a higher level of thinking within the scope of what they are learning.

Before and After School Care:
Our students love Champions!!!
We will continue to partner with Champions to provide the absolute best before and after school care to our students. We work closely with Megan Bishop, Program Manager, to ensure that our before and after school program is the best in Orange County. Enrollment is now open and space is limited! If you need before and after school care for your child for the 2017-2018 school year, please enroll now to secure your spot. Here is some additional information about Champions:
• Tuition Costs:
o AM only – $18.00 per week
o PM only – $36 per week
o AM and PM – $48 per week

• How to enroll:
o Go to our website www.discoverchampions.com and click “enroll now” at the top of the page.
o On the next screen, you will need to select “create an account” and fill out the information on that page. Within 72 hours you will be sent a temporary password to the email address you provided to our system.
o Once you have received your temporary password, follow steps 1 and 2 again, but this time you will enter your email address as your username and the temporary password to log in. Follow instructions moving forward to complete your enrollment.
