Wedgefield Red Hats

The Ladies gathered for lunch at The Olive Garden there were approximately 35 present. We had a raffle drawing and the prizes were the table decorations.

The big news was The Witches Fly Again. This is a wonderful event for all Red Hatters. I was able to go for the first time last year and had the time of my life. The attire is up to you as to which will you be? A good witch or a bad witch. Vendors were very abundant and the entertainment was great. Lunch was served and we had several raffle drawings and so that no one felt left out we all left with a party favor to take home. We met a lot of other Red Hatters and had a really great time. Came home exhausted. This was a great event well planned.

Our Benevolence Committee has gotten a list of items that the school needs for next year so we will be donating to that as well as families in need with non- perishable food.

HUGGABLE RED HATS:

We started off early to go to catch the Cruise and Dine boat out of Daytona Beach. We had about 12 aboard and husbands , boyfriends and significant others were invited. The cruise was great and lunch was yummy we had a choice, prime rib, turkey, ham or shrimp. The cruise lasted 2 hours and the captain was very good.
Our regular meeting was held at The Wedge and we had a 50/50 drawing along with a Rummage Sale of Red Hat items that you no longer use or want. I came away with a new t-shirt and a new Red Hat for nothing. What a great way to recycle your Red Hat items.
