New Exciting Places to Look Forward to….. by Sylvia Cox

titusvilleJust recently I have been making more trips to Titusville rather than fighting the traffic heading west & it will get worse as the years go by due to all of the homes that will be build at Lake Pickett. My doctor, dentist ,one of my Red Hatter groups, a social group & a Bunco group are all in Titusville.

I am looking forward to all of the new restaurants , shopping centers,  movie theatre,  that will be ready by the end of the year. By Christmas, the new Victoria’s Restaurant will be build next door to the existing one.  It will be 5,125 square feet & will seat 120 customers. It is an Italian restaurant & it is worth a 20 minute wait to have a delicious home cooked lasagna & it will feed you for a few days.

In September Quan’s Schoolhouse Restaurant will open on Main Street, it will serve fancy burgers, the owner is a local school teacher & there will be some school desks in case you may want to pretend you are back in school.

On US1 a new restaurant with a Brewery will be open soon, it will be a upscale restaurant with a glass window where you can see the beer brewing. A new Hobby Lobby will be open in September & there will be a 3 story medical building near the new shopping center.  The Titusville shopping center will have a Tuesday Morning, Firehouse Subs, Dunkin Donuts, AT&T, Caldwell Bankers & more. I hope there will be a Dillard’s, Macy’s & J C Penney’s but we will have to wait & see.

There will be a large Epic Theatre with a 70 foot screen, that will serve beer & wine & food while you while you sit in large comfortable chairs and enjoy a good movie.
There will also be a Country Club shopping center where Sears is presently located.

I can’t wait for all of the restaurants, shopping centers, the theatre to open since Titusville is my second home.

Email sylviathad@att.net if you are ready to ride with her to all of the new adventures.
