Construction on Property – Garages
No improvement or structure of any kind, including, without limitation, any building, perimeter wall, or fence shall be erected, placed, altered, modified or changed in any portion of the properties without the prior written approval of Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Orange County permits and Ranger Drainage District permits do not constitute approval by the ACC.
Each lot shall have an enclosed garage to accommodate at least two (2) full-size automobiles, except for duplex residences.
A. Garages in the City and the Villas must be attached
B. Garages in the Estates may be detached
C. Garages must be constructed of the same material as the residence and the architectural appearance must compliment the appearance of the residence.
To obtain the approval of the ACC, one complete set of plans and specifications for the proposed construction shall be submitted to the ACC for its review, prior to starting construction.
There are a few homes with one-car garages, however, these were built in the early days of development and are grandfathered in.
